ABOUT US
It Started with a Feeling: The "Eanbe" Story
In Okinawa, there is a phrase we love: Ii anbe (いいあんべぇ).
It translates to "good vibes" or that deep feeling of well-being you get when you’re sharing a drink with friends, watching the sunset, or just feeling at peace with the world.
At Eanbe, we don't just make shirts; we tailor that feeling. We exist to export the warmth of the Ryukyu Islands to the concrete streets of the city.
Tropical City Pop: Bridging Two Worlds
Tropical City Pop: Bridging Two Worlds
Living in the city can be exhausting. The trains are crowded, the work is hard, and the gray buildings can feel endless. We get it.
That’s why we created Tropical City Pop.
Our designs are the "background music" for your life. We blend nostalgic 80s city vibes with the relaxed spirit of the tropics. Whether it’s a pattern inspired by a night out drinking sake, the thrill of a boat race, or the comfort of a bowl of ramen, our shirts are designed to help you carry a piece of paradise into your daily grind.
Slow Fashion, Hand-Crafted in Japan
We believe that "good vibes" shouldn't come at the cost of quality. In a world of fast fashion, we choose to slow down.
The Fabric: We use premium plant-derived fibers like Cellulose and Lyocell. They breathe better than cotton and have the silky luster of vintage rayon, without the environmental guilt.
The Art: Our patterns aren't just digitally stamped. We use Tenassen, a traditional Kyoto hand-printing technique often used for kimonos. This manual process ensures deep, vibrant colors that digital printing just can't match.
The Assembly: Every shirt is cut and sewn by skilled artisans right here in Okinawa.
