On both work days and holidays, interview projects "Good Anbe Adults" are spotted by spending their daily lives happily, and focusing on those who send a "good anbe" lifestyle.
This time, I heard from Okata Okoka, a popular illustrator who has been active in a wide variety of illustrations to magazines such as Popeye and BRUTUS, logo marks for restaurants, and musicians.
EANBE is in charge of the embroidery design of "DRUNKEN VIETNAM JACKET" released in February 2021, and the artwork of the 21SS Aloha shirt "Drunken".
This time, I took a little time at the same time as I gave Aloha directly to the person himself, and told me what "good anbe" for Okaoka was.

ー ー Thank you from the last Vietjan to the Aroha design this term! Today, I actually wore Eanbe's Aloha, what is your impression?
After all the quality of the print is amazing. I thought it was amazing even if I saw it in the picture, but when I look at the real thing, the feeling of this is completely different from the inkjet. After all it would be amazing when craftsmen did. Because you can see some really detailed places. There are some detailed designs to apparel, and there are times when inkjet can be crushed, but I am glad that the reproduction rate is high.
-I am happy. This time, only the small squirrels here were impossible. Only this was a bit difficult.
This is a level I don't notice, at all (laughs)
-The sample was sent from Kyoto, and this part is said to be the limit. Other than that, I can get everything out.
That's amazing. The nostrils of the squirrel are so fine. I didn't really notice this. Also, it is very comfortable to wear it because the touch is very good when you actually wear it. The size is good and the color is good.
-There! Aloha, when can you wear it?
After all I want to go to the sea. When you go to the sea by car. After,In the summerI want to wear it when I return to Miyazaki or Kagoshima. ( * Okata Okoka was born in Miyazaki and raised in Kagoshima)
-The coordination is also messed up with this feeling now.
Because I can wear it as it is as it is, I thought it would be better to wear this Aloha and not to coordinate with Aloha, but it would be rough.

A little new change for your usual work
--- Change the topic a little. Is there anything you are particular about at work or cherish?
What you care about. What about? I don't overdo it, or it's a natural body. If you say this, there may be a bad word, but you are in yourself that you do not work too hard. Work is fun, but it's not just fun, so if you get too serious, you'll be tired or tired.
So, it might be like trying to do something new or something like that, as if you don't know if you don't know anything other than me. I feel like I'm conscious of the challenge that I don't know if I can keep it for a long time or not to get tired of myself.
-What kind of challenge are you taking?
It's a really subtle range, but I try to change the touch a little, try a little shadow, or put a texture a little bit of a solid coating. That's about it, but I'm conscious of that.
-Did you decide to make a small change?
I think everyone is updating each as an illustrator. So, it may be that you are not satisfied with the current situation. However, it feels natural rather than a trigger. At first, I became an illustrator, and it was all right at all, but I can't help doing the same thing. So, I'm going to do something new at the time I got tired of my style.
About "good anbe" at work and memorable work
-When are you working and what is the moment of “good anbe”?Of course, it is a premise that you will be satisfied with the client, but when you do something more than you think. That's what I just said, challenging new things, and the moment it worked.
After that, the first time you see something made like Aloha for the first time. At the time of delivery in a magazine, there is a saying, "Oh, I could draw a good thing," but it is a moment to see it actually made and lined up in a bookstore, or actually see it as a thing. It may be a fun moment to do.
-Do you have any particular impressions in your work that I've been doing so far?
I like music in various genres, but I liked chat monchy since high school. So, when I designed Chatmonchy tour goods, I was really glad I did it. Such a moment is still memorable.
It's not good, but it's fun to drive while playing music
-Please tell us about "good anbe" in your usual life!It's pretty normal, but it's fun to drive or feel like that. I like cars, so I go out somewhere on a car, or run somewhere without a purpose. Also, I'm looking forward to listening to music on a car. I can't do it.
-Do you use a holiday or a holiday time?
I agree. On a day off, you will want to ride a car for the time being.
-When I went to a solo exhibition to ask for the size of Betojan, I was on the theme of classic cars and vintage cars, but what was the reason I got hooked on the car?
The reason I was addicted was that all my paternal family liked vehicles. Like cars and motorcycles, I think that's probably because of that. After that, when I was a junior high school student, with Preste's software"Gran Turismo"There is that game, but that game is quite a chance. I was really doing it.

--- "Gran Turismo" is really surprising! When I was going to South America, I was taking pictures of cars on Instagram.
You went to Mexico and Cuba. It wasn't the purpose of going to see a car, but after all there were a lot of good cars, so I felt like taking a lot of photos.

-Do you have your own commitment during a dive live?
Is it music? I listen to anything, but it might be quite fun to select my own songs according to that time. At night, when you listen to a slightly calm song and go out somewhere, the tension goes up. I think everyone is so. That's why I make a playlist myself.
Also, the deck is broken, but there is a portable cassette deck. I listen to the cassette tape because I put it on the car. Something like a mixtape made by friends, or something like ordinary sold.
-It is very fashionable. I think fashion is also particular, but what kind of fashion do you usually wear?
Almost old clothes. I haven't read fashion magazines at all, so I haven't read it for over 5 years, so I don't know if I'm interested in fashion. But I've been wearing old clothes for more than 5 years. But in the case of old clothes, I often choose L.L.Bean, Eddie Bauer, a little old 90's, or an older outdoor T -shirt.
New challenges in the future
-Do you have a job you want to challenge in the future?
There are many jobs I want to challenge, but it's a picture book. I like picture books. I've been making two films so far, but thinking about my consent story, of course, the picture is myself. I hope I can do more picture books in the future.
