["Monogatari" Series Part 1]

This all-over patterned aloha shirt depicts the mini-story of “an innocent girl's nightclub debut” with illustrations reminiscent of 90s city pop. The artwork is by illustrator chao!

It is colorfully drawn a scene in an “imaginary box” that leads to great music, drinks, and mysterious encounters.

This shirt will turn your expectations and worries about "new things" into "Eanbe."

[Print and sewing by skilled craftsmen]

In order to express the complex patterns beautifully, the shirt prints are dyed using a technique called "hand printing" at dye factories with a long history and tradition in Japan. Hand printing is a method in which craftsmen carefully dye the cloth one by one by hand, and the pattern is highly reproducible and delicate colors can be expressed.

The dyed fabric is sewn one by one with Okinawan craftsmen's hands , and then delivered to you.
